                                            NOVEMBER SCRAPPERDAY

It's time to gather all your unscrapped photos ready for another day of skill, fun and amazement.

Our next day will be on Saturday 23rd November at Creative Scrapbooking at Burleigh Heads. You can ensure your spot by booking in on 07 55205598.

This time we will be doing a multi photo layout using pocket pages and a double page.

World Traveller

Pocket pages are a great way to scrap when you have lots of photos - as we usually do after holidays. This layout has four pages  (two back to back) and uses 13 photos. There are lots of ideas for embellishing that you can use on other pocket pages as well.

This double page layout has some great ideas for getting the most out of your patterned papers and some easy ways of altering embellishments that you will be able to use over and over again.

Looking forward to enjoying your company again soon.

                                      AUGUST SCRAPPERDAY

I hope you're ready for some more Graphic 45 layouts . French Country is such a fabulous collection I'm sure you'll love it.

This time we will create one double page and two single page layouts.

Joy of Living - Joie de Vivre

This is the first page of the double layout. The theme of the layout will suit photos of people enjoying life whether it is in sport, play, celebrations or relationships. It includes a fold out booklet for you to add journaling or extra photos.

Memories

This single page layout has a gorgeous cluster of fruit, flowers and a paper bow you will make. The perfect page for focussing attention on a photo of a special person or view you want to capture. Love these Tim Holtz Dies!

Good Day - Bonjour

A single page layout that would suit almost any photo but sunrise over the ocean like this - it has to be great day ahead.

Told you these papers are fantastic.

JUNE SCRAPPERDAY

It really is time to settle down and create some more layouts. This colder weather is perfect for scrapping in a nice cosy spot don't you think?

Our next Scrapperday will be on Saturday 22nd June, 9.30 to 3.30 at Creative Scrapbooking at Burleigh Heads 07 55205598.

The layouts for this Scrapperday use the designs on the patterned papers to set the themes for the layouts. These two double page layouts use some amazing techniques including a variety of ways to use die cutting templates and interactive page elements. They won't disappoint.

Photo Op

This double page layout will suit photos on any theme you like: people, travel, celebrations. You will create a movable photo aperture, for one of the photos to peak through. You will need to bring this photo (about 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" to show through a 2 1/2" hole) to complete the page. Others can be added later. Uses three photos in all.

Dream

This beautiful, delicate double page layout is about the dreams a child has; who will they become, their heroes or loved ones, what they love doing. It may be your own dreams or those of someone else special in you life . I used a collage of photos. You can use the same size photos as I did or add later and vary the sizes to suit your photos. Four photos used in all.

Please give Maureen a ring to secure your place and find out more information.
Looking forward to catching up with you all.

APRIL SCRAPPERDAY

Hello fellow scrappers, I'm sure you're ready for another amazing day full of scrapping fun, techniques and ideas.

This Scrapperday is all about creating fabulous layouts using cardstock and no patterned paper!! Great techniques to use on lots of your own pages at home as well.

Fun, Fun, Fun

This bright and exciting layout uses multiple photos. It is double page size but folds into a single page. Crazy heh!!. Some photos will overlap when folded up so I suggest bringing papers cut to the photo sizes and deciding which photos look best and where, later when not rushed.
It uses four 4" x 6" landscape photos (one of these is trimmed to 4" x 5") and one 4" x 6" portrait photo - that's 5 altogether.

Life is ...

Celebrate the many and varied uses of the humble shipping tag with this terrific double page layout. The theme is about hopes, dreams and wishes for yourself or for your family.
It uses a 4" x 6" landscape photo and a 4" x 6" portrait  photo with plenty a spots for journaling.

Looking forward to seeing all your eager happy faces again

FEBRUARY SCRAPPERDAY

Happy new year! Hope you had a wonderful holiday break and a very 'snappy' time - with the camera of course.

Our next Scrapperday is on the 2nd  February at Creative Scrapbooking. I have some great layouts to celebrate the beginning of another wonderful year of scrapping.
The focus for these two double page layouts is using borders and framing, to enhance your photos. These techniques can be transferred to other paper ranges with quite different results. Here are some sneak peeks of the layouts.

True Friends

For this double page we create our own multi-layered border and  'shrink' the outside design on the beautiful Prima papers. We use gorgeous dimensional stickers and gold organza ribbon to match the ladies skirts.

Seasons Greetings

This double page uses the fabulous Graphic 45 papers that conveniently always have at least one paper in the range, with a border. So we will keep this and work within it to create our own Christmas magic.

Please give Maureen a ring on 07 5520 6480, if you'd like to join us.

NOVEMBER SCRAPPERDAY

Just a quick note to thank Pam and all the lovely ladies who came to my Moss Vale classes at FM Stationery. I hope you had as much fun as I did and I hope to share another day with you next year.

Our last Scrapperday for the year - already. But we are finishing on a high note with these two double page layouts. You will use a variety of techniques with ribbons, paper rolling and more.

November Scrapperday will be on Saturday 24th November in the Creative Scrapbooking workroom. We'll begin at 9am and lunch will be provided.

The first double page layout, Make Life Big, would suit feminine photos of friendship, weddings, family etc.  The photo sizes used are two 4" x 6" landscape photos and one 4" x 6" portrait photo all in black and white. Here's a peek at it.

The second double page layout, Treasure Forever, would suit scenery, wildlife, pets, masculine photos etc. The photos used are three 4" x 6" landscape photos. Here's a sneak peek.

You will need to bring:
basic kit
hole piercer
edge distresser
paper shaping tool
pink ink (Victorian velvet Distress ink)
brown ink
craft blade and metal ruler
soft lead pencil eg 2B
strong glue or glue dots

I would love to celebrate our end of year Scrapperday with you.

Moss Vale Classes

Well, I'm off to the Southern Highlands to teach some classes on the 20th of October at FM Stationery. Quite a change of climate from the tropical north to the crisp south.

The first class 'A Ladies Diary', is a double page layout that includes a slider and mini book and a variety of techniques.

The second class 'One of a Kind', is a single page layout  that uses lots of texture and techniques.

So if you live in this lovely part of the countryside, give Pam or Bernie a ring to book your place on 02 48682966.

I'm looking forward to meeting a lot new faces and catching up with some (no -  I'm not going to say old) great friends.
